Perimeter Security Installation at the Herbert C. Hoover Building: Department of Commerce
We are proud to showcase our work on the prestigious Herbert C. Hoover Building: Department of Commerce, home of the White House Museum, where we delivered a 100% turnkey perimeter security solution. This multi-year project demanded the highest standards in both security and aesthetics, and we rose to the challenge, providing a comprehensive, custom-engineered system.
Key features of the project include:
- K12 Custom Drop Arms: Engineered and designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing stone wall, these drop arms offer maximum security while maintaining the building’s aesthetic integrity.
- Crash-Rated Vehicle Barriers: A custom crash-rated vehicle system featuring anodized rails was installed to provide robust protection against potential threats.
- Enhanced Public Amenities: We installed benches, bike racks, bollards, traffic light hardening, sidewalk grates, and hardened flag poles, all designed to withstand rigorous safety standards.
- In-House Design and Fabrication: Our team provided design assistance and executed all structural installations, with all decorative bollard covers and rails fabricated and coated in-house by Hercules.
