Having a controlled-access point for your high security facility is a very important measure of defense. It can mean the difference between a breach day and a secure day. Today we’re going to be talking about some of your options for controlled-access so that you can make the best decision for your facility. Are you ready to learn more? Well, let’s get going!
Start with a gate.
The best place to begin is with a gate. You can install a variety of gates that will go with the security features that you already have in place, so that your security system is completely seamless. Now, you can choose to have a gate that is remotely or automatically operated. A remotely operated gate requires someone to click a button for the gate to open. An automatically operated gate opens when pressure pads are pressed by a car that drives up to the gate. Now, the most secure option is probably the remote option. You can always place a guard booth next to the gate to add an extra layer of security.
Keycards and pins are very important.
Another way that you can control the flow of people coming in and out of your facility is by adding key cards and pins into the mix. Having a guard cross-check the people coming in will also add lot to your security.
