Common Security Fence Applications

Of course, we all know a security fence or security barrier is used to keep unwanted individuals out (or sometimes, in). But what are the various industries and businesses that most commonly benefit from the use of a security fence or security barrier? There are quite a few, and we’ll go over the most common security fence applications
S

Government

Most military and high-security government buildings use some form of security fence or security barrier, and for good reason. They often have a lot of important information and people to protect, so the best quality fences are uses. These fences and barriers are built to withstand heavy physical force, such as vehicles, and usually with vertical bars so they cannot be climbed.

Facilities

Prisons are a prime example, but many facilities dealing with people or other things that may be dangerous make good use of a security fence or barrier. This is an example of fences used to keep individuals in, and they are often times constructed with barbed wire at the top angled in towards the building to make escape difficult.

Graveyards

When we think of security fences, we don’t usually think of graveyards. After all, not all graveyards have a security fence, let alone a fence at all. Still, graveyards are one of the most common uses for security fences. These fences work to keep both unwanted individuals AND animals out, which could otherwise cause damage to the graves of the deceased.

These are just a few examples of the many applications for a high security fence or security barrier. In reality, there’s no bad application for these fences—no matter what the situation, if you really just don’t want anyone in, you can use a security fence.
